The island Tsunami

Swoosh. The waves peacefully crash into one another. I open my eyes and smell the salty smell of the sea. I jump out of bed and pull on my togs and I chuck my purple skirt over the top. I stand infront of my shell framed mirror and brush my long blond hair. Suddenly my door swings open and the messenger boy zooms in, his top back to front and his dark hair sticking out in all directions. I just looked at the weather forecast and theirs going to be a tsunami right by this island today at 12.00. You’re the island priincess. You must know what to do. I stare at the boy with an alert look on my face. Meet me outside in 2 minutes I tell him.

2 minutes later I slip on my colourful jandals and walk over to the crowd of island people. I can hear the sand crunching under my feet. Everyone is talking with worried, shaking voices. What are we going to do asks someone in the crowd. Every pair of eyes stare at me. I have been thinking and I thought we could build a brick wall right around the island so the tsunami dosent destroy the island and pull us into sea. There was silence and then suddenly everyone started talking all at once.

By 9.00 everyone was staking bricks and pouring cement. Wow! I said. I think this plan might actually work. The last brick was stuck on at 11.45. Everyone headed back to their houses on the island and looked out the window even though they couldn’t see the sunami because of the wall blocking it out. Suddenly there was a big crash. That must’ve been the sunami I thought. Yay. The island and the island people were saved.
